More than 15 years ago, Marcos Gutiérrez and his company Hecho en California created a radio show with a clear mission: to give a voice to the Latino community in the Bay Area.

Ten years after arriving in San Francisco and starting my family, Marcos invited me to join his team. For six years, I had the privilege of sharing the realities of Venezuela and Latin America, interviewing local politicians, and engaging with key figures to help our community better understand their rights and opportunities.

After the birth of my second child, I stepped back from radio to channel my creativity into creating Mukupati, my organic clothing business. This year, with great joy, I accepted his invitation and launched Buenas Noticias, a program designed to share the experiences, lessons learned, and challenges I’ve faced as a woman, mother, and immigrant.
